TORONTO --> BEIJING
Ok I’m at the Toronto airport right now. My flight is delayed 20 minutes so poo on them. At the moment I am the only white person. That’s kind of interesting. I’m trying to see if I can understand any of the chinese around me, but that’s failing miserably.
My friend had a shit time getting to the airport so inevitably I will do ten times worse. Really nervous about that...

Calm before the Storm
Alright so I’m home now, aka the world’s most boring place in the world, waiting for this hurricane to pass and people to skype me from DC and whatnot.
Do today is my ultimate nerd out day. Hello Doctor Who marathon and reading A Game of Thrones. That’s right, I fully intend to finish A Song of Ice and Fire by my first week in China.
